Custom Necklace Design with Jennifer G. Lifestyle

Baguette Atelier partnered with lifestyle influencer Jennifer Wilson of Jennifer G. Lifestyle to create an original necklace through our bespoke custom design experience. Jen envisioned a versatile, layerable necklace that she could incorporate into her daily wear. She sent over a sketch of her idea, and the team at Baguette Atelier started bringing her design to life!

Once we understood Jen’s design idea, Baguette Atelier created a computer rendering to be the blueprint of the necklace. Jen chose a classic cable chain to complement the petite gold bars. 

Jen loved the initial rendering, so BA printed wax models of the individual bars that would be used to create 
the necklace.

The wax models were turned into gold castings, and ready to be set, polished, and assembled! 

Expert artisans at our atelier hand set each diamond, polished every bar, and assembled the necklace to perfection. Here is the final product!

Estate Bracelet Transformed into Modern Ring

Baguette Atelier collaborated with lifestyle influencer Ivana Jorgensen to turn a dated ruby and diamond bracelet into a bespoke ring more suited toIvana’s eclectic style! The vibrant red of the rubies would be the focus of the unique, new design

A BA Design consultant took Ivana’s style preferences and mood board, and created a sketch that would show off the marquise cut rubies in a modern way.

A Computer-Aided Design (CAD) was created using the exact measurements of the rubies and diamonds from the bracelet. The wax model was printed from the CAD, and we were able to give Ivana a sneak peek of what to expect from the final product

Finally, the ring was cast and stones were set! Baguette Atelier recycled the gold from the original bracelet and recast it into the one of a kind ring

Diamond Ring Redesign with Madeleine of Moderately High Maintenance

Baguette Atelier recently collaborated with lifestyle influencer Madeleine Raiford-Holland of Moderately High Maintenance to redesign a dated gold ring.

The ring contained several lovely diamonds, but was large and bulky. Madeleine wanted a daintier look to better fit her modern style.

Once Madeleine chose the design she wanted, we created a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) using the exact measurements of the diamonds from the original ring. We sent the CAD to Madeleine so she could see exactly what to expect of the final ring before moving on to production.

Our BA design consultant created several sketches based on Madeleine’s style for her to choose from. The new designs reduced the metalbulk and refocused attention onthe modern lines of baguette shaped diamonds.

Madeleine approved the CAD design and we then used a 3D printer to print a wax model of the ring. We sent Madeleine photo updates as we completed production stages so she could watch the transformation of her ring!

The next step was to remove the diamonds and melt down the old ring. We used the recycled gold from the original ring to cast the new ring.

The last step was setting the diamonds into the new ring, once done, we gave it a thorough polish. Madeleine’s dated, bulky ring now has a fresh and modern look that she can wear every day

Next -we used the gold from Lani’s bangle to cast the bezels. The new, fashion forward necklace contains all the original material!

The CAD was used to print wax models of the bezels that would eventually house the rubies and diamonds.

Once Lani approved the sketch, custom bezels were created in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).

Lani’s BA design consultant sketched a beautiful necklace that would showcase the diamonds and rubies from the heirloom bracelet, in a way that Lani felt was more her style.

After being loved and enjoyed by two generations of women, Lanifound the sentimental piece sitting in her jewelry box more often than being worn. Baguette Atelier was thrilled to work with Lani to transform this heirloom bangle into a piece that fits Lani’s style and can be worn on a daily basis!

Erin Sackman, creator of the lifestyle blog Style by the People, had an elaborate diamond ring that had been a gift from her father to her mother. Erin loved the sentiment behind the ring, but since it wasn’t her style she didn’t wear it much. Erin’s BA Design Consultant sent her several different ideas to choose from, and she decided to create two different pairs of diamond huggie earrings from her 
old ring.
